Map of fishing spots

We came up with the idea to create a general fishing card that anyone can fill out. We kindly ask you to take this seriously and not to create non-existent points with non-existent fish there. You and I are the ones using it, so we want to receive honest information. If you add a point, then upload a photo of the catch and the fishing location to it, so that it would be easier to navigate. We will refer to these points whenever possible, so it will be clear what and where you can catch!

If you don’t have your own Youtube channel or Instagram page, then you can send your photos and videos, we will publish them on our accounts. Only, it is advisable to get a small description: what, where and how.

With this map you will not only learn where and what you can catch different types of fish with. On it you will also find, which are located “neighborhood”. If you need to buy something urgently, you will know where to do it.

For lovers of fishing in Moscow and the Moscow region there is a real expanse, because the region is rich in rivers, ponds and lakes. It’s worth going a little beyond the Moscow Ring Road and the surface of the water tempts you to take out a fishing rod and sit and fish. But in some places you have to pay for fishing, and some are not suitable for fishing. But still, there are 11 free fishing spots in Moscow and the Moscow region that definitely deserve the attention of avid fishermen.

1. Black Lake. An excellent place for successful fishing is Black Lake. It was formed on the site of a former peat quarry, so the purity of the water allows you to even safely swim in it. Black Lake is located among a beautiful mixed forest. Trees, birdsong and the murmur of water make Black Lake an excellent place not only for fishing, but also for relaxing with the family. And fishermen will be pleased with the pond with crucian carp and rotan. To get to Black Lake you need to drive 38 km from the Moscow Ring Road, along the Fryanovskoye Highway. At its intersection with the Small Moscow Ring there is a parking lot where you can leave your car.

2. Biserevo. Experienced fishermen, when listing places for free fishing in the Moscow region, will definitely name Lake Biserovo. It is home to pike, grass carp and silver carp, large roach, perch, carp, crucian carp and silver bream. Biserovo is a large (but shallow) relict lake with a muddy bottom and muddy water. The southern and eastern shores - sandy, the western and northern - are overgrown with grass and pine forest. Biserovo is located 500 meters from the Kupavna railway station. You can also get there by car, driving along Gorkovskoye Highway, to the village of Kupavna.

3. Molokcha. To catch roach, silver bream, gudgeon, pike, and burbot, you need to go to the Molokcha River. You can get to it by driving through Karabanovo, towards Makhra. There is a lot of green fish on Molokcha, which are excellent for biting. The northern shore of the reservoir is densely overgrown with bushes and various trees. There is a small swampy area to the south. There you can only enter the water through wooden masonry. The rest of the area is surrounded by a small but dense forest. The banks of the river are very shallow. And the average depth of the reservoir is 1.5-2 meters. It is better to fish from the shore, since sailing on a boat on the river itself is problematic due to beavers building dams.

4. Pakhra. If the fisherman is not afraid of the polluted water of the reservoir, then you can fish for asp, chub, ide, and silver bream at the confluence of the Moscow River and the Pakhra River. The best way to get there is to reach the village of Novlenskoye with the dam of the same name. Above the dam there is a calm surface of water with sandy banks overgrown with grass and bushes. Below is a shallow river with a very fast current and rocks sticking out of the water. To fish, you must move away from the dam. Since fishing directly near it is prohibited.

5. Vasyutino. And if you drive along the Warsaw highway towards Podolsk, then you can get to the Vasyutino pond. This ecologically clean place is home to perch, roach and pike. The shores of the lake are surrounded by sparse trees. The banks are open, meadow, with convenient approaches. There are many dachas around. Therefore, Vasyutino is not suitable for those who like to fish alone. Summer residents constantly relax here and other fishermen stand with fishing rods.

6. Lykovsky Pond. For lovers of pristine nature, it is better to drive a little further from Vasyutino. After 2 km, across a field along a gravel road, there is Lykovsky Pond. It is surrounded on three sides by mixed forest. On the fourth side of Lykovsky Pond there is a natural meadow. Sometimes there are bushes on it. Here you can catch roach, perch and pike in the snags. The most convenient way to catch them is with a spinning rod. Bloodworms are suitable as bait.

7. Bear Lakes. If you want to go fishing on a boat, then the best place would be Bear Lakes. You can get to them along Shchelkovo highway, to the bus stop of the same name. There is a fishing farm near Big Bear Lake and fishing there is paid. And in the neighboring Small Lake you can go fishing for free and catch excellent pike, crucian carp and perch. It's better to fish there with live bait. And occasionally you can catch an eel with a bottom fishing rod. The lake is surrounded on the east by coniferous forest. Their banks are covered with sedge and reeds. Therefore, fishing from the shore is difficult and it is better to fish from a boat.

8. Holy Lake. Well, if you want to sit with a fishing rod by an ice-free reservoir at any time of the year, then the best place for this will be the Shatura lakes. You can get to Lake Svyatoye through the Moscow Ring Road, 9 kilometers, turn onto Novoukhtomskoye Highway. It is home to bream, pike perch, pike and other fish typical of the Moscow region. Lake Svyatoe is very deep. It is not overgrown with reeds, and the water in it is warm. Therefore, the timing of spawning shifts. And they start fishing in mid-May. The area of Lake Svyatoe is 1200 hectares. Its eastern side is surrounded by various trees. And from the south you can see industrial landscapes. Therefore, for lovers of pristine nature, this place may not be suitable. Fishing on the lake itself is free, but on the shore you can rent a boat for a fee.

9. Murom Lake. Not far from the Saint, Lake Murom is located. In the 60s, 4 tons of herbivorous fish were released into it. This must be taken into account when choosing bait. Now it is famous for its significant catches of bream, ide and carp. Particularly lucky fishermen can catch silver carp or carp. The nature is similar to the neighboring Holy Lake. The top of the local thermal power plant is visible, but you can always meet vacationers on the gentle banks. The water in Lake Murom is also warm.

10. White Lake. Above these Shatura lakes there is a thermal power plant. Fishing right next to it is paid, but if you drive 2 km higher and turn towards Lake Beloe, you can fish absolutely free. There, on the feeders, two types of carp go well. The banks are flat. The bottom is hard, little covered with silt. Here you can find a great location not only for fishing, but also for relaxing with your family.

11. Moscow Canal. One of the most popular places for fishing is the Moscow Canal. It connects the Ikshinskoye and Ivankovskoye reservoirs. Along the entire length of the canal you can find many good places, but the largest fish live at the junction of the canal with the Ivankovsky reservoir. The catch consists of bream, roach, perch, pike perch, and pike. It is better to fish with bloodworms or maggots. The edges are located far from the shore, so it is better to fish with long rods of 9-13 meters. It is better to use bait before fishing.

The bank of the canal is strewn with large stones. Approximate depth - 5 meters. The flow speed in the channel can be quite fast. This can significantly affect the success of fishing and the choice of fishing technique. To get to these fishing spots, you need to drive to the Ivakino district, beyond the Khimki district. And then choose a place you like along the canal.

Among these reservoirs in the Moscow region, every fisherman will find one that will delight him with a rich catch and good rest. What places can you tell us about?

Bottom topography (location of holes and “cool” fishing spots) is a key factor influencing the success of fishing. It has more weight compared to the quality of gear, fishing technique, choice of bait, bait and even experience. Full equipment and expensive ammunition will do nothing when casting in a remote, poor place where there are no fish or little biting. A map of depths, holes and fishing spots provides knowledge of the topography of the bottom of reservoirs. The depth map visualizes the features of the underwater landscape and its key characteristics. The tool helps predict promising fishing zones that promise a significant catch, read the underwater landscape, and helps calculate depth change lines and potentially catchy points. A fishing map will be useful when fishing from the shore and from a boat.

The map functionality provides great information for any fishing method. The map is useful for fishermen, regardless of their experience, thanks to a large list of parameters necessary for successful fishing. The system is multi-level, based on Yandex.Maps information. The database includes a compilation of three cartographic resources, which guarantees the accuracy of the calculation results with small errors. The program displays depth indicators in navigable rivers, seas and oceans, calculates potential holes where bites are more frequent, and the fishing spots of all site participants. You can leave personal “beacons” from successful places where the catch was impressive, so that if necessary, you can return to a familiar point next time.

Displayed data: depths, holes (including Navionics data), fishing spots added by users, exact coordinates of the desired location. Fishermen have access to zoom and search options, select the desired map layer, and calculate the current location. Full screen mode introduced. The card interface is intuitive - the functionality is balanced, all the necessary buttons are at hand, nothing superfluous. It’s easy to use, regardless of fishing experience – the data on the depths of rivers and reservoirs is comprehensive.

Identification of holes, international depths and fishing spots. When you click on the corresponding buttons, you will see the holes recorded by the program that are available in the body of interest. Natural depressions from 3 m are displayed, the starting value depends on the bottom topography of a given river, sea, ocean and can be reduced. Please note: fishing holes are located outside the fairway area. The service does not determine the length, extent, direction of depressions and other additional characteristics of the landscape. Its functionality is focused solely on calculating the depths of a certain zone and their location. Using the presented platform, you can find out the data of rivers, oceans and seas of any region or region.

Visually visualizes the landscape, showing the user the latitude and longitude of the location/point he has specified. After clicking on the desired location, the program provides a detailed geographical summary. The function will help you plot a route even without geographical names; the coordinates calculated on a fishing map are enough. The location determination option is universal - the information can be used in an echo sounder, GPS device, navigator, chartplotter. The program helps you navigate the terrain thanks to a convenient zoom function and accurate calculation of distances between any number of points.
