How to get from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Phan Rang - Mui Ne - Phan Thiet - Mekong - o. Phu Quoc - Cambodia and neighboring countries. Mui Ne resort in Vietnam: the pros and cons of holidays and our review of the village Get to Phan Thiet from Nha Trang

Nha Trang is the capital of Khanh Hoa Province. This province is located in the southern part of Vietnam (although administratively it is considered the central province).

Therefore, from Nha Trang it is closest and relatively quickest to get to the southern cities.

Main routes in the south of Vietnam:

  • Nha Trang – Phan Rang – Mui Ne – Phan Thiet
  • Nha Trang - Saigon - Mekong - o. Phu Quoc – Cambodia
  • Nha Trang – Saigon – Cambodia
  • Nha Trang – Saigon – Malaysia – Singapore – Indonesia

Route Nha Trang – Phan Rang – Mui Ne – Phan Thiet

The simplest and shortest route from Nha Trang towards Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is a trip from Nha Trang to Phan Rang or Mui Ne and Phan Thiet.

Nha Trang – Phan Rang

Phan Rang is a small town located about 100 km from Nha Trang. Tourists come to this city primarily for a beach holiday.

There are several hotels in the city that fully satisfy the needs of tourists.

The most interesting places are the central square with a historical museum and a monastery on a hill called Truc Lam Vien Ngo Zen.

A trip to the salt fields nearby the city will probably be interesting. 400 hectares are allocated for salt extraction.

The largest salt production is controlled by our compatriots.

Otherwise, there is nothing to do in Phan Rang except the beach and walking. The main conditional advantage of Phan Rang over Nha Trang is said to be relatively less rain and a calmer sea.

In fact, this is very conditional and not always the case. And given the fact that Phan Rang has less entertainment compared to Nha Trang, Phan Rang is not the best place for people who are inclined to travel.

Nha Trang – Mui Ne – Phan Thiet

For many compatriots, Mui Ne and Phan Thiet are inseparable points, but there is a difference between them.

Phan Thiet is a city vaguely reminiscent of Nha Trang, but simpler (more boring). Mui Ne is a district of Phan Thiet,

which is 6 km from Phan Thiet. Mui Ne is a quaint village with one main street where all the restaurants, shops and hotels are located.

Why do they go to Phan Thiet and Mui Ne, and not to Nha Trang? The answer lies in the fact that in Mui Ne compared to Nha Trang,

there are hotels on the first line of the sea. As you know, in Nha Trang the beach is located across the road from almost all the hotels in the city.

Mui Ne is also attractive because it has excellent conditions for different types of surfing. That is, there are good winds and waves for this sport.

But there is also a minus for hotels on the first line. Due to strong waves, most hotels have concrete fencing.

Very often the sea approaches the very edge of this concrete fence, which is why the beach is completely invisible, and you descend straight into the sea from this concrete fence.

The most interesting things to see nearby: Mount Ta Ku, sand dunes.

How to get to the Mekong Delta

After a stop in Ho Chi Minh City and sightseeing (link to), you can move to the Mekong Delta.

The Mekong Delta is a vast area in the south of Vietnam, which is penetrated by a network of canals and branches of the Mekong River.

This area is home to the bulk of the population and produces the largest number of crops in Vietnam.

Tourists are not primarily interested in the entire delta, but only in the main cities from which they can go on a floating adventure along the Mekong. That's why,

Below are the main cities you need to get to.

  • My Tho – for day trips along the Mekong from Ho Chi Minh City
  • Kanto (Can Tho) – for two or more day trips along the Mekong from Ho Chi Minh City
  • Chau Doc – for boat trips on the Mekong to Cambodia.
  • Rach Gia – to travel to Phu Quoc Island by ferry.
  • Ha Tien – for a trip to Phu Quoc island by ferry, land trips to Cambodia in the cities of Kep and Kampot.

These cities themselves are practically of no interest from a sightseeing point of view.

(perhaps with the exception of Kanto), but they are important as a starting point for all trips along the Mekong and a place to spend the night.

How to get to My Tho cities (MyTho), Can Tho, Chau Doc, Rach Gia, Ha Tien (Ha Tien) from Ho Chi Minh City

Bus. The best bus company for traveling around the Mekong Delta is Phuong Trang (or FUTABuslines) – www.futabuslines.com.vn.

Most importantly, their buses are always of good quality. You can buy tickets at an office on one of the main tourist streets 272 Pham Ngu Lao street.

Almost all routes to the main cities of the Mekong Delta lie through My Tho.

It is like a border station from which the roads diverge in different directions and all the cities of the Delta.

You need to take bus tickets in the direction Can Tho or Chau Doc, or Rach Gia, or Ha Tien.

The cost for these routes one way is 8-12 USD per person, travel time to the closest city to Ho Chi Minh My Tho is 3 hours,

all other cities listed are 6-8 hours away. The cities of Ha Tien and Rach Gia should interest you only if you go

to Phu Quoc Island by ferry rather than flying from Ho Chi Minh City. More on this below.

You need to travel in the direction of the Mekong Delta and these cities from Ho Chi Minh City from the western station (BenXeMienTay).

It's a long drive from Pham Ngu Lao Street (20-40 minutes), depending on traffic jams. Phuong Trang bus company has a service -

free delivery to this station from the tourist area, where, most likely, you will buy tickets ( 272 PhamNguLaostreet).

If you need to get to the station on your own, then show the person who will take you the address of the station BenXeMienTay :

Train. Currently and in the future, there are no planned railway routes along the Mekong Delta. The southernmost point of Vietnam that can be reached by train is Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

Airplane. You can fly from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) by plane only to the cities of Rach Gia and Can Tho. See tickets on the Vietnam Airlines website www.vietnamairlines.com

How to get to Phu Quoc Island (PhuQuoc)

Phu Quoc is a Vietnamese island located 60 km from mainland Vietnam.

Recently, this island has become popular among Russian tourists, thanks to its excellent beaches and comfortable weather all year round.

If you go from Nha Trang to Phu Quoc Island, then such a trip can be combined with a visit to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and/or the Mekong Delta, or even combined with a trip to Cambodia.

If you plan to visit the Mekong Delta, then the priority is a bus route, which should ultimately lead you to the cities of Rach Gia or Ha Tien from where high-speed ferries go to Phu Quoc Island. More about this below

If you plan to visit only Phu Quoc Island, then the priority will be the air route via Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

with a possible stop for a day or two to explore Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Flight cost from 80 USD round trip per person.

So, the second starting point after Nha Trang to Phu Quoc Island is Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, having got from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City (see above), then we get to Phu Quoc in 2 main ways.

  1. Bus Ho Chi Minh City - Rach Gia or bus Ho Chi Minh City - Ha Tien. Next, take a ferry to Phu Quoc Island from these cities.
  2. Airplane Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc (Phu Quoc)

Bus – Ferry. The path to Phu Quoc lies through the Vietnamese cities of Rach Gia and Ha Tien, from where you can get ferry tickets to this island.

You need to travel in the direction of these cities from Ho Chi Minh City from the western station. It's a long drive from Pham Ngu Lao Street (20-40 minutes), depending on traffic jams.

Ferry to Phu Quoc Island from Rach Gia and Ha Tien

If you need to choose which of these cities is best for you to get to and then go to Phu Quoc,

This route is more comfortable than taking a bus to Ha Tien and then taking a ferry to Phu Quoc. Although the ferry journey from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc is almost twice as long (3 hours) than from Ha Tien to Phu Quoc (1 hour 40 minutes).

Moreover, if you have intentions after Fukuoka to move to neighboring Cambodia, which is very close,

then it will be more convenient to do this through Ha Tien and further to the Cambodian city of Kep and/or Kampot bordering Vietnam (see route below)

Ferry schedules and prices from Rach Gia and Ha Tien to Phu Quoc Island

Rach Gia ferry<->Phu Quoc

Port address in Rach Gia, from where ferries depart to Phu Quoc: Nguyen Cong Tru st, Vinh Thanh ward, Rach Gia

Ferry Ha Tien(Ha Tien)<-> Phu Quoc(Phu Quoc)

Port address in Ha Tien, from where ferries depart to Phu Quoc: So 1 Kim Du st, To Chau ward, Tx.Ha Tien

But keep in mind that there are two ports in Ha Tien from which ferries depart to Phu Quoc. One for speed boats (you need one),

and the second is for slow boats that can also carry transport (you are unlikely to need it).

To avoid confusion, simply tell (better show) the person taking you the name of one of the ferries that are listed in the table above (for example, Superdong ).

Airplane Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc. The fastest and most convenient way to get to Phu Quoc Island is by plane from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc Island Airport.

The cost of tickets on this route fluctuates around 70-100 USD round trip.

The most reliable flights in terms of departures are Vietnam Airlines flights. Departures daily, schedule below.

Which is better Nha Trang or Phan Thiet, quite new resorts on the Russian tourism industry market, let's figure it out! So, what is interesting there, where to go on vacation in Vietnam? Today we will talk, perhaps, about the two most popular resorts in Vietnam called Phan Thiet and Nha Trang.

We used to hear very often that many people vacationed in Thailand. Pattaya, Phuket, Samui - the resorts have long been familiar, everyone knows them. Every year, more and more often, we hear: “We were on vacation in Vietnam!”

So let's start enlightening ourselves. Where do tourists go on vacation in Vietnam? What to choose Phan Thiet or Nha Trang? Both resorts are located on the coast of the South China Sea, the distance from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet is on average about 200-250 km. At first glance, it seems that it is very close, so there is no significant difference, but this is not entirely true.

Beaches

Firstly, Nha Trang is a city where one of the best beaches is located in the heart. Most hotels are built in the city center, no matter how “star” the hotel has, the beach is located across the road.

Phan Thiet is also a city, only the sea itself and the hotels are located not in Phan Thiet itself, but rather on the outskirts of the city, closer and closer to the village of Mui Ne. Therefore, holidays in Phan Thiet and Mui Ne are one and the same. And the holiday here is more relaxing, homely.

This is where the main thing lies difference between Nha Trang and Phan Thiet! In the latter, 90% of hotels are on the first line, you walk through the hotel grounds to the sea without crossing the road!

In general, crossing the road in Nha Trang is not particularly annoying. And when you are lying on the beach, the noise of the road does not really distract from relaxation, since the wind blowing from the sea takes away all the noise from the beach. But during the day there are merchants scurrying around (not a lot, but still), locals are swimming (since the beaches in Vietnam throughout the entire territory are municipal, or simply shared!), in the evening there is absolutely no place to fall on the beach, since local residents relax there and have get-togethers etc. At sunset, the embankment on which the beach is located is illuminated by lanterns.

Things are different in Phan Thiet. The beaches are also public, but due to the fact that they are far from the road, in the evening you will not meet anyone there except tourists and hotel security guards. You can sit quietly on the sun loungers or in the hotel restaurant overlooking the sea!

During the day in Nha Trang there are many locals on the beach, but in Phan Thiet you rarely see locals on the beach, only tourists walking along the sea.

In both Phan Thiet and Nha Trang, almost every hotel offers its guests free sunbeds, towels and umbrellas.

Prices

We have been to both Nha Trang and Phan Thiet, so I can objectively say that Phan Thiet is certainly cheaper, but not by much, 5-7% maximum. And prices largely depend on the place where you eat. If you choose by price, there is no significant difference.

Fish and seafood

Perhaps, citizens from all over the world come to Vietnam to try the gifts of the sea, rivers and lakes and other inhabitants of our planet. Here they eat everything that swims, runs, jumps, etc.

There is a rich assortment of all sorts of delicacies in both Phan Thiet and Nha Trang. But there are some differences, for example, in Nha Trang I didn’t see scorpions on the menu, and in Phan Thiet there is no beloved sea grapes!

Excursions

By and large, you won’t be bored either there or there; there are places to see and go. Nha Trang has the only advantage because Vinpearl Island is located there, where you can go every day and not get bored.

Entertainment and nightlife

The Vietnamese are such a people that they go to bed early and get up early. It is customary for them to go to bed around 22.00-23.00 and get up at 5 am. That's the way of life. Therefore, the nightlife is not very vibrant, but it still exists.

Here Nha Trang wins, since there are 2 times more places for those who like to dance at night or eat. But in Phan Thiet, there are 2-3 places where you can go at 3 am if you can’t sleep. And, by the way, although there is less nightlife in Phan Thiet, all the establishments are located right on the seashore! So you dance, and even through the loud music you can hear the sound of the waves, and the sea breeze is pleasantly refreshing.

Where is better, Phan Thiet or Nha Trang, I can’t say, we liked it both there and there. We will definitely visit both Nha Trang and Phan Thiet again and again.

If you travel on your own, you can visit both popular resorts in Vietnam at one time. Moreover, there are problems with how to get from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet, will not arise, the easiest way is either a bus, which is more economical, or a taxi, which is more comfortable and faster.

It's up to you to decide! But in any case, you won't regret it! Phan Thiet and Nha Trang- these 2 resorts in Vietnam are worth a visit!

Phan Thiet is famous for its beautiful beaches and good surfing conditions. Some tourists vacationing in Nha Trang want to go to Phan Thiet to look at this city and the neighboring village of Mui Ne. In addition, there are tourists who fly to Nha Trang on their own and then go to Phan Thiet.

But if you want to get from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet spending as little money as possible, you can use the bus or train.

Bus Nha Trang - Phan Thiet

To get to Phan Thiet by bus, you need to take a bus going to Ho Chi Minh City. It is advisable to find out in advance whether this bus goes through Phan Thiet. Remember that buses to Ho Chi Minh City usually leave in the first half of the day. How long does it take to get from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet by bus? Typically, the duration of the trip is about 5 hours.
It is worth noting that there is a sleeper bus going to Ho Chi Minh City via Phan Thiet, called a “slip bus”. The cost of a bus ticket from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet is about 6 dollars. Even if there are four of you traveling, the cost of a bus ride will be approximately 4 times lower than the cost of a taxi ride.

Train Nha Trang - Phan Thiet

There are 2 trains running daily from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet. The first train leaves at 08:35, and the second at 19:49. Fare starts from $13 (hard seat).

The morning train arrives in Phan Thiet around 12:30, which means you can spend a few hours in Phan Thiet before heading back to Nha Trang on the evening bus or train.

When it comes to getting ideas for a dress-up party there are a lot of places to look. There are many sources that can help a person totally transform themselves. A person that uses multiple sources may find that it is easy to get ideas that allow them to mix and match different concepts. Most people will automatically go to the Internet, but the following information gives an array of ideas that can inspire a person.

There are also quite a few amateurs style consultants that have a YouTube channel where they post a series of different videos. You might as well catch up on Clash Royale strategies on Youtube. Magazines

Thumbing through a magazine is still a great source for fashion. A wide number of magazines are designed to provide people with dress up party tips that they may have never considered before. It is good to look through magazines because people can find imitation jewelry or knock-off dresses that are cheaper than some of the designer originals that the celebrities may wear. Magazines like “Cosmopolitan,” “Essence,” and “Ebony” all have a wide range of dress up ideas.

Your Favorite Movies/Television Shows

One way that a lot of people get ideas for a dress up party may come from their favorite movie or television show. There are iconic characters like Crockett and Tubbs from “Miami Vice” that people will recognize from television instantly. John Travolta’s white suit from “Saturday Night Fever” is also another idea for a dress-up party that is quite well known. Some even use game contents like character designs in Subway Surfers to get inspiration for ideas. People that want to dress up should also consider movies that have dress up themes.

On the Nha Trang-Phan Thiet route, the distance can be covered by tourist buses, which depart mainly in the first half of the day. As for the question of how long it is to travel from Nha Trang to Phan Thiet, you will need about 5-7 hours for the entire journey.

A special bus with sleeping berths, called a “slip bus,” runs from one settlement to another. This is the most budget and unusual way to get there. The bus has bunk beds in several rows, which are equipped with seat belts, handrails and mini-ladders. Passengers have free Wi-Fi, a toilet, air conditioning, and free bottles of water (food is not served). The sleeping place has a pillow and a warm blanket, which you will definitely need, since the air conditioners are working at full power.

The cost of a ticket for a slip bus is about $10; for a tourist Open Bus with seats it is a little cheaper. You can order it at any tourist office, as well as at hotels and guesthouses at the reception. Hotels provide transfers to the bus departure point (departs from the office of the company where the ticket was purchased).

Train Nha Trang-Phan Thiet

Trains on the Nha Trang-Phan Thiet or Nha Trang-Mui Ne route allow you to cover the distance at a higher price and in almost the same period of time, but in terms of comfort they sometimes cannot compare with slip basses.

A one-way trip costs about $15. Trains do not stop in Phan Thiet itself, but 12 km from the city, so you will have to spend extra money on a taxi. You should get off at Binh Thuan or Muong Man station. The main thing is to check when buying a ticket whether the train you have chosen stops at this railway station. Some trains pass by and do not stop here.

If you suddenly find yourself in Ho Chi Minh City and don’t know how to get to Phan Thiet, then this article will help you with this.

The first train leaves in the morning, and the second in the evening. This is very convenient if you want to go on excursions or shopping in Phan Thiet, walk there for a few hours and return to Nha Trang.

Holidays in Phan Thiet (Mui Ne)

The Mui Ne resort area, stretching along the beaches in the form of a large chain of hotels, cafes, shops and restaurants, is of much greater interest to tourists. Almost everything in this place was built for comfortable recreation and tourism; local residents do not live here. There are no attractions in Mui Ne, but there is something to see in the surrounding area.

A few years ago, mostly surfers and kitesurfers traveled to Mui Ne, who spent time doing their favorite activity during the day and relaxing in local bars in the evening. Then large travel companies learned about the village and began selling tours here. Since then, the resort area has become very popular and has become the tourist capital of Vietnam. However, those who are not constrained by budget choose Phan Thiet.

The resorts smoothly flow into one another and represent a long strip of beaches, along which hotels are located from the cheapest to the most expensive. It is at these resorts that the greatest concentration of Russian tourists is located. Here you can find signs in Russian, and in the evenings you can hear songs of popular Russian artists from the speakers. Many people here speak Russian, even the local Vietnamese.

Thus, the most budget-friendly and convenient option for tourists is a slip bass. If you take a ticket for a night bus, you can not only sleep well on the road, but also save on hotel costs.
