Within one month, the Dutch Security Council will publish preliminary data on the progress of the investigation into the crash of a Malaysian Boeing 777 in the suburbs of Donetsk. On July 17, 298 passengers and crew members of the Boeing were killed in the Donetsk region, the bodies of 62 of them have still not been found. It is possible that fragments of bodies remain with the wreckage of the airliner in the area of ​​​​combat operations on the Russian-Ukrainian border.

Despite the importance of the evidence left in Ukraine, experts in The Hague still have the opportunity to establish the cause and those responsible for the plane crash. A group of specialists from 12 countries is working on the case, but Russia was not among those invited. Soon only the cause of the disaster will be announced; investigators are not yet planning to name the culprits. According to Dutch aviation experts, it may take years to find those responsible for the disaster.

The fact is that the key evidence - the wreckage of a Boeing with traces of external influence on the plane - was left on a field in the village of Grabovo. Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Malaysia Ahmad Jahid Hamidi told reporters that the international team of investigators from Holland and Australia, which visited the disaster site from August 1 to 6, managed to do only half of the work. More than 70 specialists interviewed eyewitnesses, examined the wreckage and collected personal belongings and the remains of most of the dead passengers.

The remains of the Boeing cockpit and part of the left side of the cockpit with traces of fragmentation holes are of particular value to the investigation.

According to Minister Hamidi, they wanted to be evacuated to the Netherlands for examination within three weeks. But the foreigners did not have time - on August 6, the Ukrainian authorities and NATO representatives announced the strengthening of the positions of Russian troops on the border. Due to growing tensions, the Dutch authorities decided to stop work in Ukraine.

On August 8, the international investigative team left Donetsk, hoping to return there in the winter, after the likely cessation of fighting - on this, by the way, the Ukrainian side insisted, not wanting to interrupt military operations in July-August (Previously, the UN Security Council demanded that Ukraine not conduct hostilities in the 20th kilometer zone from the Boeing crash site).

However, by winter, valuable evidence may be destroyed. Foreign journalists published photographs on Twitter of how cows were now grazing among the wreckage of the plane. But most importantly, there is fighting in the disaster area. In particular, according to RIA Novosti, on August 14, the Ukrainian army used heavy artillery in Grabovo - a Tochka-U ballistic missile exploded there. At the site where the rocket fell, a crater 8 meters deep remained.

Searches for recordings of conversations between dispatchers and pilots

All that investigators have now is the decoding of Boeing’s “black boxes” (it was done in the UK, since the Netherlands does not have the appropriate equipment and specialists) and radio traffic data from Ukrainian dispatchers.

“We have enough information (for a preliminary report on the causes of the crash),” Wim van der Weegen, a spokesman for the Dutch Safety Council, told reporters last week. “But we would like to return to the crash site to check some of our conclusions and get additional evidence."

However, according to Russian experts, “black boxes” are unlikely to help in investigating the causes of the disaster. Recorders record the operation of instruments, components and assemblies of the aircraft, pressure indicators, altitudes, and the serviceability of on-board systems. If the plane received external mechanical damage, then the recorders will not show anything other than a break in the electrical networks. According to preliminary data leaked to the press, the “black boxes” indicate large-scale explosive decompression on board the aircraft - rapid depressurization, possible, in particular, as a result of an explosion. However, the pilots did not notice anything unusual during the three-hour flight until the connection was lost. According to Air India pilots who were 25 km, or 90 seconds into the flight, from the Boeing 777, they heard the Ukrainian controller asking the Malaysian pilots to change course. The liner dropped from 35 thousand feet to 33 thousand feet (10,500 m). This could be due to a possible thunderstorm in the south of Ukraine or the close passage of another aircraft (next to the Boeing, in addition to the Indian one, there was a Singapore Airlines plane).

Recordings of pilots' conversations with the Ukrainian air traffic controller, and most importantly, Ukrainian radar readings, may contain the most valuable information. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as members of the Malaysian government, have repeatedly demanded that this information be made public. According to the BBC, immediately after the tragedy, the tapes were seized from the Air Traffic Control in Kyiv by SBU officers. But the recordings did not reach international investigators immediately, but only three weeks later, and then only after an official request from the Malaysian Prosecutor General. At the same time, in an interview with the New Straits Times, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Igor Gumenny generally denied the information that the records were in the SBU.

Immediately after the disaster, a Spaniard spoke on Twitter about the work of the control tower at the Kiev Boryspil airport Carlos, air hub controller. He said that the Ukrainian plane was "flying" two Ukrainian Air Force aircraft, and they were marked on the radars of air traffic controllers in Kyiv three minutes before the crash. After Carlos talked about the visit of foreign military personnel to him, the blog was deleted. It has still not been possible to confirm his words.

However, nothing has yet been reported about the authenticity of the film transferred from Kyiv to the Netherlands. In this regard, Malaysian media note that after the disappearance of another Boeing MH370 in March of this year, negotiations with air traffic controllers were published on the official website of the country's government 72 hours later.

The key to understanding the causes of the tragedy lies in the missile's damaging elements

But even if the radars did not detect anything unusual, evidence may remain in the bodies of passengers or crew members of the Boeing. As of August 17, the bodies of 149 passengers and crew members of the plane, most of whom are Dutch citizens, were identified in the morgue of a military base near the Dutch city of Hilversum, one Australian and 22 Malaysians were also identified. Among the citizens of Malaysia (there were 44 representatives of this country on board), the body of at least one of the two pilots must be identified - the plane was flown by a 50-year-old captain Wan Amran Bin Wan Hussin and 45 year old Yugen Chu Jin Leon.

A photograph published by journalists immediately after the crash shows the body of one of the dead pilots with traces of at least three round holes in the back. Another photo shows a large wound on the right leg. If fragments of the suspected missile were stuck in the pilot's body and did not pass through (in the case of the terrorist attacks on Tu-154 planes in 2004, bomb fragments were removed from the bodies of passengers), they can be used to determine the type of missile that hit the plane.

Among the passengers, fragments can be found in the bodies of those who were sitting in the first cabin of the plane - further, judging by photographs from the crash site, the fuselage did not receive external damage - no traces of shrapnel are visible either on the surviving parts in the floor or in the tail of the plane. On some parts of the Boeing, the windows even remained intact, while in the cockpit the glazing was torn out from the inside - the glass was missing, the casing was turned outward, and the rivets were partially torn out completely, and some were left without caps.

To identify fragments in the bodies of passengers, it is enough to know which high-explosive fragmentation part is installed in the Buk M-1 missile. According to open sources, the warhead of the 9M38M1 Buk M1 missile weighs 70 kg and has a charge power of about 40 kg in TNT equivalent. The warhead consists of alternating layers of cube-I-beam-cube. The mass of the I-beam is 8 g, the mass of the cube is 2.5 g. The diameter of the fragments is about 10 mm. In each Buk missile, the warhead consists of 5.9 thousand fragmentation elements (for comparison, in the S200 missile, which shot down a Tu-154 plane in 2001, there were 37 thousand balls with a diameter of 9.5 mm and 7.9 mm, weighing 3-5 g each).

Due to the special shape of the fragmentation elements of the Buk missile, doubts arose among military experts that this missile system could even be used to attack the Boeing. Evidence of the use of the Buk missile is so far only indirect.

It is interesting that the first version of the operation of the Buk complex was voiced by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsena Avakova- on his Facebook page ten minutes after the message about the crash of the Malaysian Boeing Anton Gerashchenko stated that the plane was shot down by militias:

“Terrorists from the Buk anti-aircraft missile system kindly donated by Putin just shot down a Kuala Lumpur - Amsterdam civil plane over Torez. This morning, local patriots recorded the movement of this complex from Torez to Snezhnoye.”

That same evening, in support of his version, Anton Gerashchenko published a photograph of supporters of the National Guard in Torez, who claim that some witnesses captured the contrail of the rocket launch.

“This photo was taken near the city of Torez at about 16:20 in the direction of Snezhnoye. This is a contrail from the missile that shot down the Boeing. The place from which the rocket was launched was clearly identified. And we clearly know that the area from which the launch was made was controlled by a terrorist organization,” the head of the SBU counterintelligence department later told reporters Vitaly Naida.

However, for some reason the original photo on Twitter was published on July 17 at 09.23 - eight hours before the Boeing crash.

Later, a discussion arose on social networks about the inconsistency of the weather conditions in the picture of thick clouds at the site of the disaster (it is clearly visible in the first frames with a rising column of smoke in the Torez area). The BBC journalists who found the site of the alleged launch could not find confirmation of the authenticity of the photo; they did not find any evidence of the operation of the Buk air defense system. On the contrary, local residents in interviews with British journalists, as well as in conversations with Paris Math correspondents, said that they saw a military plane in the sky, accompanying and then rising sharply in front of the passenger plane, after which they heard three strong explosions and saw falling fragments of the Boeing. .

However, an audio recording of negotiations between militiamen from the battalion appeared in the SBU Igor Bezler nicknamed "Bes" with the admission that the plane was shot down by the militia by mistake. The recording, published on Youtube, was immediately criticized by Russian recording experts. Social networks noticed that the date of creation of the video on YouTube was July 16, a day before the disaster. Footage of the movement of a Buk anti-aircraft system with two missing missiles, allegedly in the Torez area, was also posted on Youtube. However, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the filming took place in Krasnoarmeysk, controlled by the Ukrainian army.

U.S. intelligence officials told the Wall Street Journal that all evidence implicating Russia and militias in the crash investigation came from social media.

It is interesting that so far there is only one indirect witness to the movement of the Buk complex in the case - the director of the Stroymekhanizatsiya company from Donetsk Vasily Tumasov. In early August, he told Lithuanian and Dutch journalists that the truck on which the Buk was traveling was stolen from him by militias. Tumasov said that the white Volvo truck with a blue stripe is the only one in the Donetsk region. According to the entrepreneur, on July 8, several DPR militias seized the territory of his car depot, where, in particular, the Volvo was located, and drove out Tumasov and the company’s employees. Since then, he has known nothing about the fate of the truck.

Finally, the SBU released footage from Ukrainian satellites, which recorded the absence of Ukrainian Buk missile systems in the Torez area. However, the Russian Ministry of Defense again called the pictures a photomontage and doubted their authorship.

Rocket or heavy machine gun?

The Russian side denies the possibility of transferring Buk complexes to the militias and doubts its use. This probability is negligible, said the head of the military air defense of the Ground Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Major General Mikhail Krush in an interview with the Military-Industrial Courier.

“All the holes from the destructive elements on the Boeing’s skin indicate that the warhead was detonated from below and from the side. But our Bukov missile hits from above, making a “slide” in front of the target. That is, only this way, no other way,” says Krush .

Simultaneously with the data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, which testifies to the presence of an unknown military aircraft at a flight level of 10 thousand meters at the time of the Boeing crash, several testimonies from foreign experts appeared in favor of an air strike rather than from the ground.

The first to speak out was the OSCE representative in the region, a Canadian journalist of Ukrainian origin, press secretary of the OSCE special monitoring mission Michael Bochurkiv. Even before the Dutch, he was at the scene of the tragedy and drew attention to the nature of the holes in the pilot’s cabin. According to the Wall Street Journal, the holes in the wreckage remind OSCE observers of machine gun fire (“shrapnel-like, almost machine gun-like holes”). Then, on July 29, in an interview with the Canadian television channel CBC World News, Michael Bochurkiv once again voiced his observation about the large caliber of the holes.

“There were two or three parts of the fuselage that were actually riddled. It's like machine gun fire; heavy machine gun fire, which left unusual holes, we did not see them on other wreckage,” said the head of the international mission.

These holes, according to some experts, are similar to traces from the operation of a double-barreled 30-mm air cannon. July 30, former pilot of the German airline Lufthansa Peter Hysenko published “A Shocking Analysis of the MH17 Shooting,” in which he outlined his version: the Boeing cockpit was shot from both sides from a GSh-30-2 aircraft cannon with incendiary high-explosive fragmentation shells.

“The facts are obvious, it is impossible to speculate on them: traces of shelling are visible on the cockpit! You can see the openings coming in and going out. The edges of some of the holes are curved inward - these are small, round and neat holes showing the entry points of a 30mm caliber projectile, writes Khaysenko. - On the other side of the fragment there are larger and slightly torn exit holes, obtained from shells of the same caliber. In addition, the exit holes tore the double layer of aluminum outer skin... The rivets were also bent outward.” Khaisenko explained that the cockpit is reinforced with a double layer of aluminum to prevent bird strikes.

Soon this version of the air cannon’s operation was confirmed by other experts. Gordon Duff, a Vietnam combat veteran, believes that the Malaysian Boeing could not have been shot down by a surface-to-air missile. In his opinion, the cause of the sudden explosive decompression could be either a bomb explosion on board or a “Ukrainian gun mounted on the fighter.”

The Malaysian newspaper New Straits Times, citing independent forensic criminologists, put forward a slightly different version - according to analysts in Malaysia, the plane could first have been shot down by an air-to-air missile, for example an R-60, and then finished off from an air cannon by a Ukrainian Su-25, but as evidenced by the holes on the cabin body with a diameter of 30 mm.

A Romanian military pilot, former deputy commander of the Otopeni military airfield, also points out the holes from air cannon shells. Valentin Vasilescu. True, he is inclined to believe that the Boeing caught up and knocked out not the Su-25, but the Mig-29, equipped with a GSh-30-1 cannon, since it has a reflective surface identical to the Su-25 in area.

“The practical ceiling of the altitude gained by the MiG-29 is 18,013 meters, so the altitude at which the Malaysian plane was moving, 10,300 meters, was easily achievable by it,” Vasilescu noted in an interview with Pravda.ru.

According to pilot Vasilescu, the Su-25 does not have sufficient acceleration to catch up with the B-777 and follow it at a speed of 900 km/h at an altitude of 10 thousand m and at the same time maintain a speed of 200-300 m/s in order to attack it from the onboard gun. The Ukrainian fighter fleet has MiG-29 aircraft, they are based at the Vasilkov airbase near Kyiv and in Ivano-Frankivsk, the expert concludes. GSh-30-1 shells pass right through, leaving round marks; they do not explode inside the cabin, are not explosive, but can kill the crew and destroy the cabin, which is recorded by holes with the edges facing outward. The death of the crew and the instant depressurization of the cabin caused the Boeing to stall at its peak, and it broke up at an altitude of about 2 thousand meters, Vasilescu believes. There was no fire in the air and no bomb explosion. According to the Romanian pilot, a mercenary could fly the fighter; in particular, the Polish MiG-29 pilots demonstrated good training, the expert notes.

However, the German pilot Khaisenko claims that the modernized Su-25 M1 attack aircraft could also gain sufficient altitude to attack the Boeing - it is capable of rising to 10 thousand meters and higher. Since 2000, the Ukrainian Air Force has had 14 Su-25 M1 aircraft in service. Ten of them are based in the 299th tactical aviation brigade, to which the notorious Yuliy Mamchur. He became famous back in March for the defense of the Air Force base in Belbek (Sevastopol). In April of this year, Mamchur began preparations for the transfer of personnel and part of the aircraft fleet to Dnepropetrovsk, under the command of the governor Igor Kolomoisky. It is worth noting that the other day Cyberberkut intercepted the correspondence of Kolomoisky’s assistants on Facebook; if it turns out to be genuine, then suspicions of involvement in the disaster fall on the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

However, so far none of the international experts plans to interrogate Ukrainian military pilots or representatives of the Ukrainian authorities. At the moment, there is one specialist from Holland and one representative of the investigation team from Malaysia in Kyiv - they are waiting for the moment when hostilities cease in the crash area. As for the Boeing wreckage, so far only the Malaysian authorities hope to evacuate pieces of the fuselage for examination.

Charges against Russia in connection with the disaster

Immediately after the plane crash, the European Union, which had long resisted the introduction of tough sectoral sanctions, decided to join US restrictive measures against Russia. The first politician to openly blame Putin for the disaster and call for tougher sanctions was Hillary Clinton.

“I believe that if anyone had doubts before, now there are simply no doubters. The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, of course, not alone, but with the help of militia forces in the Donetsk People’s Republic, bears full responsibility for what happened,” Hillary Clinton said on July 18.

Political intrigues around Boeing are still heating up. On August 17, Australian intelligence agencies said that the phone of Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, who most sharply criticized Vladimir Putin in connection with the Boeing crash, was tapped for two weeks while she was on visits to Ukraine, the United States and Holland. The intelligence services already know who exactly organized the “wiretapping”, but have not yet said, writes Herald Sun, noting that all serious negotiations remained inaccessible to spies - the prime minister conducted them through encrypted channels.

Despite active propaganda in Western media, among American politicians and journalists there are opponents of the general line of criticism of the Russian authorities. A former political commentator for the Associated Press is confident that the conflict has been artificially inflated and the Ukrainian military is involved in the Boeing crash. Robert Parry. "Intelligence analysts' working theory is that the Ukrainian military used Buk and military aircraft to hunt down Russian aircraft, possibly Russian President Vladimir Putin's, on its way back from South America," Parry's intelligence source said.

The source added that the analysis of American intelligence did not involve the country's top leadership, for example, the president, in this scandal Petra Poroshenko or prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Parry writes that the attack may have been orchestrated by some extremist groups or by some of the Ukrainian oligarchs who prefer an aggressive approach to waging war against ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine.

The former American Republican senator also adheres to the version of the conspiracy. Ron Paul, he also drew attention to the lack of hard evidence from American intelligence. American authorities “know a lot more than they say” and are “probably hiding the truth,” Paul argues in his article on the Voices of Liberty website. According to the politician, most of this information will not be made public.

“All we heard from American intelligence was that they have no evidence of Russian involvement. Nevertheless, the military propaganda machine managed to convince Americans that Russia was to blame for everything,” writes the former senator.

Obstacles to establishing the truth

The criminal investigation into the Boeing crash is being conducted under the control of Eurojust with the participation of Interpol. Representatives of 12 countries whose passengers were victims of the disaster, as well as the Ukrainian authorities, were allowed to access the materials. Last week it became known that the participants in the investigation signed an agreement according to which information about the progress of the investigation will be disclosed only with the consent of all interested parties.

The Dutch press, citing its aviation experts, writes that the culprits of the disaster may be announced by the authorities only in a few years, as was the case with the American Boeing that exploded over Lockerbie in 1988, the reasons for the crash of which became known only three years later. Italian pilots at aviation forums are even less optimistic. They compare the story of Malaysia Airlines Boeing to the downing of an Itavia passenger plane over the Mediterranean island of Ustica in 1980, killing 81 people. Then French fighters allegedly confused the passenger DC-9 with a similar aircraft, on which the Libyan leader was flying on a parallel course Muammar Gaddafi.

It took thirty years for the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation to recognize that there was sufficient evidence in favor of the version of an air-to-air missile fired from a French Air Force aircraft. The cause of the disaster has not yet been officially established, and 12 people related to the investigation, according to media reports, died under unclear circumstances.

We will draw attention to some inconsistencies, absurdities and strange circumstances of the crash.

Let's start with the fact that many experts and representatives of countries agreed that the main version of the crash of the airliner is the version of the explosion of the plane from a surface-to-air missile fired from the Buk air defense system. However, according to the latest data:

Experts were unable to collect and examine the wreckage of the airliner, which means it will most likely not be possible to prove the version of the missile attack on the aircraft..

Remember the strange disappearance of the same Boeing 777, and the same Malaysia Airlines, in March of this year. The plane was never found, just as the place where it crashed into the ocean was not reliably found. Apart from an oily stain on the surface of the ocean, not a single item from the missing liner was found. Why do we remember this disappearance? And besides, quite viable versions have recently appeared on the global Internet that the plane did not just disappear. Allegedly, the plane was hijacked and landed at the American military base in Diego Garcia.

Control of the ocean

The American base of Diego Garcia is located on an atoll included in the Chagos archipelago. It is 1600 km away. South of the Hindustan Peninsula. The base, stuffed with warships, tracking and radio interception equipment, and satellite direction-finding and control equipment, is located practically in the center of the Indian Ocean. Almost all air and sea routes pass through this atoll. That is, the US military has the ability to control the movements of all vehicles in the area. And it’s strange that the disappearance of the passenger liner went unnoticed by them. The plane, which landed at the US Navy base, was prepared for a secret operation and then transported to Holland. Then, when day "X" arrives, the plane takes off on the standard route MH17.

Note. The identification number of the missing Boeing 777 flight MH370 is 9M-MRO, and the identification number of flight MH17 that died in the skies of Donetsk is 9M-MRD. The rooms are very similar. The difference is one letter.

Further oddities with the passengers “inhabiting” the strange flight. The following data was obtained by Facebook users who, based on the passports seen in the news, checked some of the deceased individuals. A very interesting pattern emerged: all passengers, both children and adults, were registered as Facebook users. Further more, they registered on the same day (!?), April 21, almost two months after the strange disappearance of B 777. Everyone knows that Facebook was created by American “specialists,” in particular the CIA. Therefore, there were no traces of special activity on Facebook pages or dead passengers.

With the passports found at the crash site, things are also not simple. There is already a certain parallel with the tragedy of September 11 in America. And here and there they find brand new (!) passports without traces of smoke, burning or soot. Just new!?

Since the bulk of the passengers (139 people) were Dutch, it is not surprising that most of the passports found were passports of Dutch nationals. Yes, but why did some of them have holes? And they were clearly visible in the photographs! And thus, passports in Holland are invalidated.

Passengers and relatives? Dead Souls?

The hero himself, of Gogol’s immortal work, would be amazed at the ingenuity, and at the same time, the endless stupidity and stereotypes of those specials. services that probably had a hand in the tragedy in the skies of Ukraine. Those militia fighters who were directly at the crash site noted a strong cadaverous smell. Despite the intense heat and the explosion on board, the bodies cannot begin to decompose in such a short period of time and emit a strong odor. And the militia fighters, who have been fighting for months, can hardly be suspected of lacking experience in handling corpses. Then there is the strange behavior of the relatives of the victims.

Everyone knows perfectly well how the media loves to savor the tragedy of close relatives of the victims. All news channels are filled with photos and videos of people mourning their loved ones. Committees of relatives are being created, they demand a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the death. In general, the media are earning their living in full. In this case we have complete silence. Strange, if not sinister. Even on the Internet. Maybe because the virtual corpses did not have virtual relatives? Or was it simply that the tragedy scenario was not thought through to the end? Or maybe something just went wrong with overseas directors? There are still more questions than answers. Moreover, no one is going to answer us. Exactly three years ago, a Malaysian Airlines plane was shot down in eastern Ukraine over uncontrolled territories.

In any plane crash, the first thing we see on our television screens is not the crash site, but relatives of the victims. So - during the first day, no relatives were shown, with the exception of a couple of strange people - a hysterically crying woman (as it later turned out, the mother of the flight attendant of this plane) and some man. And only then (apparently the organizers realized the mistake) began customizing extras of "relatives of passengers" who were accommodated in the same hotel and who did not give any interviews.

On YouTube the day before the disaster a “recording of separatist negotiations” about the downed Boeing was posted. Then the recording was removed and a day later it was uploaded again.
