Free tours to the brewery!

I really love beer and excursions to various production facilities. Therefore, when I was invited to the plant of the Moscow Brewing Company, I gladly agreed.

It is generally accepted that we have nothing to see, and few people are allowed in. But anyone can go on such an excursion! They will meet you at the metro, quickly take you to the factory, tell and show you how and what beer is made from, and then treat you to it! And all this is absolutely free!

The other day we went together with the lead singer of the group “Nogu Svelo”, Maxim Pokrovsky, on this excursion. At the same time we talked about the freedom of photography.

And the plant employees, having learned that Ternovsky had come to see them, immediately asked for “You can take pictures!” stickers so that they could cover everything with them! Well done! ;)

I won't talk about how beer is made. It’s best to find out for yourself by signing up for such an excursion through the IPC website - http://www.mosbrew.ru/

I can only describe my impressions. Everything is very fun and interesting. Guests are greeted by guides and shown the entire beer production process. The main brewer of the MPK is Mikhail Ershov!

By the way, one of the main products of the MPK is Zhiguli beer. Many people confuse it with “Zhigulevsky”, but in fact they have nothing in common.

One of the walls of the workshop where beer is brewed was made transparent. Driving past the plant by car, you can see this room from the street - it looks very cool!

Malt tasting.

The coolest place is where the brewed beer is cooled.

Laboratory.

The pride of MPC is the only beer membrane filtration system in Russia. This is the most environmentally friendly way to filter beer today.

Bottling shop. Max is holding a plastic blank of a future two-liter bottle of beer. He, of course, immediately suggested a lot of options for using it, and asked for a few things.

We were not able to catch the bottling process itself. It turns out that the entire workshop, including the equipment, is washed several times a day. Even if one brand of beer is bottled on the line, after four hours of operation everything is stopped and completely processed.

The entire excursion takes about two hours. Not a small part of her time is spent tasting! The quantity of beer is not limited;)

We also tasted the beer before pasteurization and filtration. This is, of course, a completely different drink. Several times more aromatic and tastier. True, its shelf life is only 1-3 days. Max loves wheat and unfiltered beer most of all, as well as ale!

At the end of the meeting, Max spoke on the topic of our struggle for freedom of photography:

Come by yourself, or in a fun group with friends, it’s interesting!
